About Us
Green Energy Taxis (GET) Ltd is an environmentally aware business, established in Cardiff to Promote safe and efficient transport as well as offering unique Eco-friendly transportation services.
The idea arose to create this business from the increasing concerns of the greenhouse gas emissions locally as well as worldwide. Research has shown that nitrogen dioxide that is produced from motor vehicles is shown to be the single biggest air pollutant within the UK.
We are aware of the increasing numbers of taxis and private hire vehicles over the years, which in turn has contributed to the problem of air pollution. This is what we aim to tackle as a company. By implementing this framework, we believe that our vehicles will assist in improving the air quality and protect overall public health.

We envision a society living in a peaceful and sustainable world, living in harmony with nature. We aim to contribute to the reduction of CO2 levels while giving outstanding services to our customers. We would like to be one of the first companies that take the initiative to help the UK’s legally binding target to build a carbon-neutral economy by 2050.

How will riding with us benefit the environment
Cardiff’s Environmental Scrutiny Committee produced a report in April 2018, which highlights that nitrogen dioxide produced by motor vehicles to be the single biggest air quality pollutant in Cardiff. Air quality can have a massive impact on quality of life and more so, how long we live. The only way that we could reduce the level of Carbon footprint is that we all have to own up our share of Carbon footprint. Robert Swan said, “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”. If you ride with us, together we can reduce Carbon footprint. Alone we could do so little, together we could do so much!
Share to Shrink CO2 Emissions
Another way that you could reduce more CO2 emissions and save money is to share rides with other passengers. Picture yourself driving to work every morning trying to be ontime but stuck in traffic. Imagine how much CO2 emissions are those cars emitting per second. If every three passengers share to and from work with one of our hybrid or electric cars, they could reduce so much CO2 emissions.
We offer a service called Share to Shrink CO2 emissions. This service is for people who travel regularly to and from their place of work or study, who need a quick and clean service. How this service works is that when you register with us, we will find someone else who is travelling the same direction as you then we will calculate how much each one will pay per ride.
